Customers consistently highlight the freshness and quality of ingredients, with popular menu items like pad thai, tom yum, and green curry receiving particular acclaim. The ambiance is noted as comfortable and spacious, offering a pleasant dining experience with well-spaced tables. Some diners also point out minor inconsistencies in dish preparation, such as occasional overcooking. Overall, Jatujak is regarded as a reliable spot for enjoying authentic Thai flavors, balancing quality food and a good atmosphere, albeit with room for improvement in service efficiency.
Food was great! Although I wish there were more servers to accommodate all the tables. But if you’re looking for a good spot to have some Thai food, then I recommend this place but be prepared to wait and be patient
Pad thai, tom yung, bagoog rice, crabcake & lemongrass drink were yum! Shrimp curry was just fine. Spareribs w/ garlic tasted dry for me bcoz it was over fried. Still, the rice & pad thai made everything sumptuous. I'll definitely try other items next time. Service wise, just ok. It took a while for the first dish to get served.
Previous name of the restaurant is Tamarind. I can say that their dishes are very near to authentic Thai cuisine. The ambience is good, the service is excellent, wide variety of dishes, freshly made and delicious food. Highly recommended for Thai food cravings. A bit pricey but acceptable since it is in a prime location and in a mall. They have good food portions as well. Thank you to the lady Manager who checks us out frequently. The staffs are warm and attentive to their guests. Will be back soon!
Had a good dining experience (again) here. This is our first time here because we often dine in moa branch. Food is still good, servicing is okay and the staff are very friendly. We ordered the usual tom yum, shrimp fried rice, green chicken curry, mango sticky rice, cantaloupe shake and iced coffee. Also, the place doesn't look crowded, tables have a fair distance.
We ordered seafood tom yum soup and catfish green mango salad and they did not disappoint. Seafood ingredients tasted fresh and had good serving. We mistakenly ordered mild when we should have gotten spicy but it was still food. Catfish salad was also surprisingly a delight as I'm usually not a fan of green mangoes, it hit the right balance. Points of improvement are maybe separating/ removing the bits of lemongrass from the tom yum soup so I don't have to fish them out or spit them out. Lemongrass drink was good but maybe make it less sweet. Otherwise, pretty good thai casual dining place!
